Description :

Gymnema sylvestre, often known as gudmar, is an Asian herb that has been used medicinally in India for thousands of years. It is known as Gudmar in ayurveda, which literally translates to "Sugar-Destroyer." Additionally, for 1-2 hours after chewing Gudmar leaves, our tongue loses its ability to taste sugar. Gudmar encourages the release of insulin and its ability to metabolize too much sugar, which contributes to the maintenance of appropriate blood sugar levels. According to the ancient Ayurvedic text Bhavprakash Nighantu, the herb gudmar has a bitter flavor, a strong aftertaste, is dry in nature, and aggravates vata dosha. Gudmar helps promote healthy glucose metabolism, better digestion, reduced sugar cravings, and regular bowel motions.

When taken in the morning with warm water, gudmar or gymnema powder helps diabetic people with coughing and phlegm production. Gymnema powder consumption on a consistent basis minimizes the negative effects of diabetes mellitus on the human body and lowers average blood glucose or levels of glycosylated hemoglobin (HBA1C levels). Gudmar also encourages using various healing herbs to mend tissues that have been injured and treat diabetic sores. Due to excessive blood sugar levels, the skin's tone and color are impacted; in these situations, gymnema helps to prevent skin conditions. According to current science and study, gummetic acids, which are the finest sugar-metabolizers, are present in gummar. Gymnemic acids boost the pancreatic insulin-secreting cells' stimulating action, which in turn aids in the maintenance of normal blood sugar levels.
